Connection credentials are encrypted with an installation key protected by macOS Keychain.
Your settings, your decision
AI is optional. Keep using your existing email address, provider and familiar reply workflow.
Lock the app
Set an app passcode and automatic locking. This restricts access to the app; it does not encrypt the email database.
The app stores a local mail cache. This is not an end-to-end encrypted mailbox or a fully encrypted mail database. Email connections still use your provider.
